Guest House Project

Plot of land on which we will build the Guest House

We have purchased this beautiful plot of land on which we will build a Guest House. It is a wildflower meadow with wonderful views across the surrounding countryside. The Guest House will be run as a Retreat and Conference Centre and the guests will be cared for by some of our young people. The food that will be served in the restaurant will be bought from the farm homes where the youngsters are living. The profits made from this project will, eventually, pay for the salaries of the housemothers & other running costs of our 5 farm homes.

We want to open the Guest House in May 2007 and we will be running courses in art, poetry and music as well as nature trails and religious retreats.

Travel to Romania is not too expensive and we will be able to make it easy for our guests.

The Guest house will be built of logs and there will also be accommodation in log cabins as well as stands among the trees for caravans and RVs.

The total cost of building and furnishing the Guest House, log cabins and hard standings will be in the region of £160,000.
