Hello to all. was just browsing through the WC web, and came acros this guest book page. I have not been out to Romania for a number of years, but still exchange Christmas cards with the children of Casa Ferecita. I often wonder about other volunteers who were with me on my three visits to Remeti and Bratca. I hope you are all well. |

I have just read a very old message left by Tristian Trigg where he asked for people who remembered him with affection to contact him. Well I remember him and we always got on very well, so if he still wants to make contact please do so on josieyoung@tiscali.co.uk (and any other old volunteer who wants to make contact of course) |

I returned a week ago from Romania, where I had the privilege to work with Dr. Marianna and the children at the hospital in Remeti for 4 days, followed by a day touring 3 of the farms along with 7 others from my church. I think I can state on behalf of all of us that it was one of the most rewarding and amazing weeks we've ever spent and we all hope to return to work with the children again in 2006. |

Buna!
Would any volunteers or Romanian friends who remember me with affection (there must be SOMEBODY) please get in touch to share old times with?
Meanwhile, do take care and stay happy.

Went out on one of the first convoys to go out, we put the fence up around Remeti playground which didn't last long. Once the kids got hold of it they thought it was more fun to take it down. We also did some general repairs. Haven't been out since but have seen recent photo's of the kids from a friend that has been. It's great to see the hard work still goes on and the kids (not kids anymore) are looking well. |

Buna ziua to all I met some volunteers who worked in Remeti. For the kids in Spital they meant the only chance to escape the gloom. On the other hand if any of you know anything about Remeti volunteer Tristian Trigg ,please let me know. Thank you |

Does any former White Cross volunteer fancy a trip back to Romania to visit old haunts? . It would be a "cheap holiday".I went as a volunteer to Remeti three times, I think the first time was in 96. I would prefer to go with a past volunteer rather than with family or friends. I would love to hear from anyone interested in such a trip. |
